
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
Bridge Project: Vocational Trainings
Under the Bridge Project, more than 100 participants including men, women, and youth from Lebanese, Iraqi refugee, Chaldean, and Syriac communities — completed hands-on vocational trainings in:
🧺 Artisanal Basket Weaving
🧼 Soap and Candle Making
🍯 Food Production and Preservation
🧵Sewing
These trainings didn’t just teach skills; they empowered individuals to transform passion into purpose.
At the end of each training, participants received starter kits, enabling them to continue practicing at home and take their first steps toward launching small businesses or income-generating projects.
This initiative is led by Istituto Oikos and funded by Italy – Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS),and implemented by Farah Social Foundation (FSF), Scale (Specialized Centre for Accessible Learning and Education) and CCSL ( Charitable Chaldean Society).
