HUMANITARIAN AID
Emergency Response Overview
Over 1.2 million people were forced to flee their homes, seeking safety in collective shelters and rented accommodations. From the very first hours, Farah Social Foundation (FSF) mobilized its teams on the ground, delivering a rapid, coordinated humanitarian response to meet urgent needs.
Food Security Response
FSF continues to provide life-saving food assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), ensuring consistent access to nutritious meals:
- 1,200+ hot meals prepared and distributed daily from the Beib El Chouf community kitchen to shelters across the Chouf area
- 3,000+ ready-to-eat (RTE) parcels distributed
- 2,000+ food parcels delivered
These efforts were made possible through the generous support of partners including MSF, Les Amis du Liban à Monaco, World Vision, Mada Association, the South Council, TIKA, Total Energies, High Relief Committee and WHH.
Essential Relief & Non-Food Items (NFIs)
To support dignified living conditions, FSF distributed critical non-food items to affected families:
- 1,000+ hygiene kits
- 5,000+ mattresses, 3,000+ blankets, and 2,000+ pillows
- 2,000+ water gallons and 300+ fuel barrels
In addition, households received essential supplies such as carpets, water heaters, cooking kits, and gas equipment to meet their daily needs.
This intervention was supported by the Council for the South, High Relief Committee, FDC, Nestlé, Aquafina, WHH, TIKA and Warde.
