Food Security Initiative
Under our Humanitarian Aid Intervention, Farah Social Foundation conducted a needs assessment in October 2019 as the socio-economic crisis started in Lebanon to identify the most vulnerable food insecure households in Aley, Chouf, Baabda, Rashaya, Hasbaya, Tripoli and Beirut districts through our app “Farah Social Foundation Social Safety Net”. In December 2019, 3500 households were identified and food parcels were distribution.
As the coronavirus pandemic started in Lebanon and the lockdown, the number of people that lost their jobs increased rapidly. so a the needs assessment was updated and until now we have distribution more than 22,000 food parcels in Aley, Chouf, Baabda, Rashaya, Hasbaya, Tripoli and Beirut districts.

Migrant Workers Support Program
Under FSF Humanitarian Aid intervention, FSF provided the kenyan migrant workers protesting in front of their country's consulate with: food parcels, hygiene kits, sanitary pads, sleeping bags and tickets to go back home. The project was in partnership with Samana Travel.
