SMEs Microfinance Project

Farah Social Foundation (FSF) implemented a microfinance project to support MSMEs in Chouf, Aley, Zahle, West Bekaa, Rashaya, and Hasbaya. The project provided a combination of grants and loans to strengthen small businesses operating in the agriculture and agri-food sectors. Eligible MSMEs were selected based on a thorough assessment conducted by experts, including field visits to evaluate their potential and sustainability. To qualify, businesses had to be active in the agricultural or agri-food sector and have been operating for at least two years. 50 MSMEs benefited from this project over the period of 2 years with a total budget of $250,000.
