Small-Scale Farmers Microfinance Project
Farah Social Foundation (FSF) implemented a microfinance project to support small-scale farmers in Chouf, Aley, Rashaya, and Hasbaya. The project provided a combination of grants and loans to strengthen the operations of small-scale farmers in the agriculture sector. Eligible small-scale farmers were selected based on a thorough assessment conducted by experts, including field visits to evaluate their potential and sustainability. 300 small-scale farmers benefited from this project over the period of 2 years with a total budget of $300,000.
